About EGGnoggin

~ Learning is not EGGsidental ~

OBJECTIVES:

     1. To provide instructors of Computer Skills, After-School Programs, the Gifted, Home Schoolers and Regular Curriculum an opportunity to compete against other schools or teams and prepare students for the real-world competitive nature of our global society.  (All research assignments are "cross curricular" in nature and will be designed to fit Middle-Level students' talents and interests.)

     2. To exemplify (with humor) to students that it is alright to be intelligent and that there should be no negative stigmas associated with learning and academics.

     3. To provide a means of researching topics of interest, utilizing the internet, meeting state standards, and having fun.
(EGGnoggin uses a combination of various state standards in the reseach and evaluation phases of the competition.)

     4. To satisfy these objectives while adhering to strained school budgets and little free instructional time.
(You will notice that there is very little required of the teacher or instructor in this educational program.)
